MASTERS AND PUPPETEERS : FRANK SOEHNLE, FILIATION POETIQUE

The use of artificial bodies and the search for an ethereal atmosphere favouring sensory perception lie at the heart of the artistic approach of the famous German string puppeteer, Frank Soehnle. Filmed in his workshop, in the company of two other puppeteers, this documentary plunges us into the heart of the creative process of Wunderkammer – The Cabinet of Curiosities. An ode to these collections of strange and improbable objects that tell the story of the world, the production is also and above all a tribute to their common master, the great puppeteer Albrecht Roser. A show marked by experimentation, exchange and creative freedom, with one constant question: do objects have a soul?
