After the mysterious death of the father, a family – the mother, her son, and her two daughters – try to keep their life together on the island where they have always lived. Lost in the mourning process, withouit being able to share it, each member of the family unit, which teeters on the verge of breakdown, tries to face the situation.But behind the force of strong links and of the moments of happiness which, for a time, continue to unite them, isolation, the age of the children, and the health of the Mother, accelerate an inevitable separation.
