Aram, a young man from Marseille of Armenian origin, blows up the car of the Turkish ambassador in Paris. A young cyclist, Gilles Tessier, who was passing by is seriously injured.
Aram, on the run, joins the Armenian Liberation Army in Beirut, home of the international revolution in the 1980s.
Gilles is trying to understand when Aram’s mother Anouch bursts into his hospital room to ask for forgiveness. She admits to him that her son was the one who planted the bomb. Aram breaks away from his comrades in Beirut until the day he decides to meet his victim to make him his spokesman…
