This film is inspired by “C’est pas facile”, Aquarium Theater’s trilogy directed by Didier Bezace.The three shows that make up this trilogy look at man and history. The plays are formulated and interact so as to arouse the sentiment of our awareness or ignorance of events and to reveal our ever-present fears. They place our history in perspective, from the period of fascism in Europe to the present day with the continuing influence of the ideas of the extreme right. Half documentary and half filmed play, “C’est pas facile” attempts to render what theater is all about without deviating from the line followed in the trilogy “It’s not Easy”.
