Based on the work of 15 black choregraphers from France, Guinea, Benin, The West Indies, the United States and Brazil, this film looks at
African culture as it develops and spreads throughout the world; examining in particular how the culture adapts to diverse environements including America’s Southern plantations (Alvin Ailey), Brazilian beaches, (Capeira) and city suburbs (Fred Bendongue).
