Since 1976, the date of his first show with the Stuffed Puppet Theater, Neville Tranter, an Australian who has become Dutch by adoption, has been captivating audiences with his exceptional dexterity and his split personalities through the use of puppets. This trained actor and outstanding puppeteer tirelessly draws on the traditional resources of the theatre, moving from the zany to the tragic with scathing irony. Always alone on stage, he addresses and questions great historical figures in a caustic manner. Filmed during a workshop in Ljubljana and during the rehearsals of his new play Mathilde in Amsteslveen, he generously shares his knowledge and talent for our pleasure!
