Following an imaginary river, we traveled inland from the south of Brazil up to the north. We met the men and women who are planning and building, in concrete and innovative ways, a more egalitarian future for their country.This voyage across Brazil took place at a particularly effervescent period. It started in the euphoria of Lula’s election, ending three years later during the campaign for the upcoming presidential election, at a time of political stocktaking and the realization of how long change will take.We navigate beyond the geography of this huge country, on an inner river, near the heart, to find the essence and soul of a country on the move.
