Vincennes, l’université perdue retraces the epic tale of the University of Vincennes, from its foundation after the events of May 1968 to its demolition in the summer of 1980. Telling the story of Vincennes means bringing back to life ten unique years of intense intellectual and political effervescence, of educational and artistic inventiveness, of utopias, of hopes, and of betrayals which, in a unique place – the wood of the same name – have left their mark on history.
