WHO KNOWS ?

The story takes place one long night…On the night in question, they have decided to get together at their school to work together on elaborating a play whose theme – or starting point – will be the city of Strasbourg itself.Almost immediately, they are confronted with countless difficulties: what story to tell, how to structure it, how to perform without a text or established characters, how to bring together the different fruits of each person’s research on the city, how to transform the real into fiction, how 15 people can work together when they have decided not to bring in an external director…These questions lead each of them to discuss their relationship to their city, politics, utopias, theatre, etc…These questions also echo the filmaker’s undertaking within a film that is in search of its own subject.At dawn, nothing has changed, or almost nothing. But who knows ?
